Creating a JIRA Issue

How to create an issue on JIRA from BugBase

Pre-requisites

• JIRA Account with an Active Project

• BugBase Company Account with an Active Program

• JIRA Configured & Connected to your BugBase Program

Follow the steps below to create an Issue on JIRA for BugBase Report

1. Navigate to the report which you want to create an issue for.

2. Click on the Create an issue on jira button on the utility section on the right.

3. A modal will open up with prefilled report data which will include:

   • Reporter Details

   • Bug Report Date

   • Bug CVSS Score

   • Issue Type

   • Project

   • Issue Description (Report Description)

   • Issue Summary (Report Title)

4. Once Reviewed, click on the Create Issue button. This will create an issue on JIRA for the report.

5. To view the issue on JIRA, click on the View Issue button on the utility section on the right.

3. Clicking on View Issue will open up the issue on JIRA
